<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rectify a misregistration of an image formed in a form with high precision. <P>SOLUTION: A controller calculates a mean of image shift values of 30 items in immediate vicinities, using image shift values (image shift values of 29 items in immediate vicinities) accumulated in an HDD until now and already calculated image shift value about a tray, a quality of paper and a paper size (any of sizes 1-3).
