<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly restrain generation of color shift. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus comprises a plurality of image carriers, a driving part for rotating the image carriers, a rotation transmission system for transmitting the rotation of the driving part to the image carriers, a load monitoring processing means for sensing a specific load in image forming units 22Bk, 22Y, 22M, 22C provided with the image carriers at the time the image carriers are rotated independently according to the drive of the driving part, and an image forming processing means for forming a developing agent image based on the phase of the driving part when the specific load is sensed in the image forming units 22Bk, 22Y, 22M, 22C. Since the developing agent image is formed based on the phase of the driving part when the specific load is sensed, even if the angular velocity of the image carrier is changed according to fluctuation of the load, generation of color shift is certainly restrained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
