PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when a DS and a TS are verified by conventional techniques and when a large number of documents in an electronic document management system are verified together, it takes a long time in proportion to the numbers of added DSs and TSs. SOLUTION: A system which guarantees that a document is original using techniques for electronic signature (DS) and timestamp (TS) has a means of creating an electronic document while adding a hash of a document body when adding a DS and a TS, the electronic document management system having a means of hashing the whole document and newly creating a document using the document body, and DSs and TSs when the numbers of added DSs and TSs match each other, a means of adding hashes of both the recreated document and the document of the last version for electronic signature, and a means of verifying the relativity of the document with the hash in the recreated document.
