PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent lowering of an operation when changing over a head, caused by a positional shift regarding the correction method of a disk device having positional shift of a servo signal of a circumferential direction among a plurality of disks. SOLUTION: When changing over the head, the average value of areas of sector positions of the head before and after changing over and time shift information indicated by a sine wave are taken out form the average value of time variations of the areas of the head obtained by measured values obtained by measuring time variations of servo signals of the head in the areas of a disk (10) divided in a radial direction and time shift information indicated by the sine wave of a frequency equal to the rotational frequency of the disk (10), and the time shift value in the circumferential direction is calculated from the taken-out average value and the time shifting information indicated by the sine wave. When the time shift value in the circumferential direction is equal to or less than a predetermined value, further, the time of one sector is added to the time shift value in the circumferential direction, and the servo sector number of the head before changing over is incremented by 1 to be set the servo sector number of the head after the changing over.
