PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet paper roll holder capable of using a toilet paper roll with or without a core. SOLUTION: A rocking rod is provided with respective functions, such as a rotating means, a pole, expansion/contraction or extending means, a long rod, and a going in/out means, these are complicatedly combined with a reverse side of a hold body, or a function adapter is provided for an existing holder by a function adapter attaching/removing means. Thus, set/unset by a conventional vertical switch insertion method or set/unset by a left and right sequential insertion method is made possible whether with a cylinder or not by making a size after subtracting a minimum length of the rocking rod from a set space becomes a role width.
