METHOD FOR MANUFACTURE OF LIGHT GUIDE PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacture of a light guide plate having good transferability of a mold and excellent in the dimensional stability in a constant temperature/humidity circumstance. SOLUTION: The production method for the light guide plate comprises: using an alicyclic structure-containing polymer; performing an oxygen-removing treatment to the polymer; and then injection-molding the polymer in a mold cavity at an injection rate of≥250 cm3/s. The light guide plate has a minute uneven pattern on at least either the light emission surface or light reflection surface of the plate. The minute uneven pattern has a triangle prism form whose inclined surface has an arithmetic average roughness (Ra) of≤150 nm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
