PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power vehicle which is propelled and steered according to the steering operation of an operator and capable of avoiding the collision with an obstacle without stopping the vehicle. SOLUTION: The power vehicle comprises an operation input unit 4 for performing the operational instruction by a person, an instruction detection unit C for detecting the operational instruction given to the operation input unit, a control means CPU for controlling the power for the steering and the propulsion according to the given instruction, and an obstacle detection sensor 5 for detecting the obstacle; and further comprises a collision avoidance means for applying the force of the lateral movement to the vehicle during the turning operation based on the detection output of the obstacle by the obstacle detection sensor.
