PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover member which is a cover device fitted to an opening end of a vent hole penetrated through a wall body of a building to remove dust and pollens etc. in outside air and capable of taking in only fresh air into inside of a room, is easily and securely fitted, can exhibit excellent filter functions, has a simple structure and is disposable. SOLUTION: The cover member 1 is three-dimensionally formed to have a dish-shaped cover main body 1a covering the vent hole A by nonwoven fabric sheet and a peripheral step part 6 continued to a rear end of the cover main body 1a to form a step shape. The peripheral step part 6 is made cover an annular fixation member provided on a wall face around the opening end on the outdoor side or the indoor side of the vent hole A, and a peripheral wall part 5 of the peripheral step part 6 is detachably secured to the outer peripheral face of the fixed member by a fixed member 10 comprising a ring-shaped rubber band.
