A washing machine is provided to preclude the separation work of laundry by user by not tangling the laundries. A washing machine performs washing by reciprocating the laundry vertically. The washing machine consists of a case(100), a tub(151), a hanger(130), an up and down drive unit(110). The case forms an outer tube. The tub is located within the case. Washing water enters into the tub. The hanger soaks some part of the laundries inside washing water in the tub by moving up and down the laundries. The up and down drive part drives the hanger.
