摘要

A method for adjusting photonic band-gap of photonic crystal is provided to form a photonic crystal with a colloid self-assembly and project a light on the substrate so that the generation of various photonic band gaps is controlled. A method for adjusting photonic band-gap is comprised of steps: forming a photonic crystal(230) having the photonic band gap on the substrate(200); changing the photonic band gap by projecting a light on the photonic crystal; especially the forming a photonic crystal is comprised of steps: growing a colloidal particle(232) of a sphere on the top of the substrate by using the colloidal solution; filling the material between the colloidal particles of the sphere with material of the effective refractive index changes due to light; removing the colloidal particle of a sphere.
