Vibration damper with adjustable damping valve

The damper has an adjustable dampening valve (27) with an actuator. Actuating force acting on a valve body (35) is controlled with the actuator. An operational movement of the valve body is dampened over a hydraulic dampening device. A displacement body (54) cooperates with a dampening space in the hydraulic dampening device. An annular gap exists between the displacement body and a dampening space. The annular gap is sealed by a circular sealing. The dampening space is implemented with a throttle producing a dampening force.
