The unit has an air conduction unit (56), which is provided for conducting air flow to an aperture of a cooking chamber vent. The vent comprises a wall unit, which is provided to form a cooking chamber rear surface that limits a cooking chamber. The aperture is left open from the cooking chamber rear surface. The air conduction unit includes two air channels (80, 82) for conducting air flow to corresponding apertures. A cooking chamber wall (68) limits the cooking chamber and comprises a retaining region to hold the air conduction unit.
