The assembly has shoulder prosthesis with a humeral element (1) including a tapered rod (3) that is engaged in a medullar channel of a humerus. An implantation instrument (10) has a rigid tube (13) forming a pin hole that is engaged in a reception hole arranged in a screw rod (12). Another rigid tube forms a piercing hole that is engaged in an adjusted manner in another reception hole (21) arranged in the rod so that the tube (13) is engaged in the former hole.
