The machine has a supply network (9) for a coolant, a motor control (2) with a temperature sensor (5a,5b). The motor control is connected with a computing medium (6). The motor control has a freeze protection control (12) supplied in the standby-operation. The temperature sensor is arranged adjacent to an electric motor (3), a motor control and/or a cooling duct (4). The electric motor is a three phase alternating current machine. An independent claim is also included for a standby method with deactivated rotary drive of a liquid-cooled portable electric power tool machine.
