A book cover manufacturing method is provided to improve adhesive properties of cotton paper and a book cover, and a bookbinding method using the same is provided. A book cover manufacturing method comprises: a step(S110) of preparing an outer layer consisting of a central area portion, and left and right area portions around boundary lines of both collapsible portions of the central area portion, and an inner layer which is formed correspondingly to the outer layer; a step(S120) of coating an adhesive in a constant pattern on portions of one faces of left and right reinforcements disposed on the left and right area portions of the outer layer, or coating the adhesive in a constant pattern all over the one faces of the left and right reinforcements; a step(S130) of matching and arranging the left and right reinforcements such that adhesive coated faces of the left and right reinforcements face the inner layer so as to arrange the left and right reinforcements at edge inner sides of the left and right area portions of the outer layer; a step(S140) of arranging the outer layer on a top face of the reinforcement-arranged inner layer such that the outer layer is matched to the inner layer; and a step(S150) of applying a high frequency to the left and right area portions to adhere the outer and inner layers to each other such that the left and right reinforcements are housed between the outer layer and the inner layer and adhered to the inner layer. |
