PROCESS FOR PRODUCTION OF HOLLOW-FIBER MEMBRANE BUNDLES

摘要

A process for the production of hollow-fiber membrane bundles whose ends are fixed with a casting material, characterized by fixing the ends of hollow-fiber membranes with a casting material with an insert placed in a hollow fiber membrane bundle at a nearer site to the center of the bundle than the region for forming a fixed part and then removing the insert from the interior of the resulting bundle; and a process for producing hollow-fiber membrane filter elements by using the above process. The hollow-fiber membrane bundle obtained by the process of the invention can be used in various filtration methods including external-pressure filtration. ® KIPO & WIPO 2009
