The industrial tractor has a coupling device (8) for coupling a mobile transport container (12 Fig 2) to the industrial tractor. According to the invention, the coupling device (8) has a hook (9), which is open at the top and can be moved in the vertical direction in such a way that by raising the hook (9), a transport container (12 Fig 2) can be coupled to the industrial tractor. According to a development of the invention, the coupling device (8) has a safety element (10), which prevents an unintentional movement of the transport container (12 Fig 2) relative to the hook (9) in the upward direction.
