Cylinder head for a combustion engine

The head has connections (7), which are provided between a lower coolant casing and an upper coolant casing (2b) at a distance to exhaust gas conduits in an external wall of the cylinder head. The connection is arranged adjacent to an area, in which the exhaust gas conduits brought together at entire exhaust gas conduit. Cylinders exhibit respective outlet openings for conducting exhaust gas from the cylinder. The connections are arranged at opposite sides of the entire exhaust gas conduit.
