APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR OFF-GAS TREATMENT OF AN INCINERATION PLANT

An exhaust gas treating device and method of an incinerator are provided to discharge the exhaust gas to disposal facility with minimizing the deviation of concentration by mixing the exhaust gas ejected in the incinerator and the combustion boiler. An exhaust gas treating device of an incinerator comprises an exhaust pipe guiding the exhaust gas from the incinerator or combustion boiler to disposal facility. A mixing unit is provided between an inlet and an outlet of the exhaust pipe and mixes the exhaust gas in order to minimize the concentration deviation of the exhaust gas. The mixing unit is composed of an expansion part(400) having a cross-sectional area greater than the cross-sectional area of the exhaust pipe, a straight part(420) formed on the lateral side of expansion part to be connected with the exhaust pipe, and a buffer plate formed inside the straight part in order to delay the flow of the exhaust gas.
