<p>Provided is a centrifuge having a lock mechanism which is driven by a motor as a drive source and locks a cover at two locations of the cover. A centrifuge with a lock mechanism comprises a rotor housing a sample, a drive unit rotating the rotor, a chamber housing the rotor, a cover opening or closing the chamber, and a lock mechanism(10) locking the cover in a state the cover is closed. The lock mechanism includes a motor(12), a first hook(11a) rotated by the motor, and a second hook(11b) integrally rotated with the first hook. The cover includes a coupling fixing part. The first and second hooks are coupled and fixed onto the coupling fixing part when the cover is locked. While performing a locking operation of the cover, the first hook is engaged with the coupling fixing part to pull the cover toward the chamber, and the second hook is engaged with the coupling fixing part when the cover is pulled.</p> |
