A METHOD FOR SENDING AND RECEIVING DATA AND BROADCASTING RECEIVER

A data transmission/receipt method and a broadcasting receiver are provided to define the subject of an error control in case of generating time out error and to process data transmission/receipt of a host and a cable card accurately. A cable card transmits a new flow request message(new flow req()) which connects data transmitting/receiving pass for TCP communications to a host(S71). The host receiving the new flow request message(new flow req()) transmits a new flow answering message(new flow cnf()) to the cable card(S73). The new flow request message(new flow req()) includes a time out control flow file which defines control subject of the time out generated on TCP communication(S74).
