Provided is a television reception device including a multi-screen function and a web browser function and capable of performing web browser page transition without requiring manual operation of a viewer. The television reception device can perform a multi-screen display, i.e., simultaneously displaying input video data received from a plurality of video sources and a web page associated with the input video data acquired by the web browser from an external web site via communication means on single display means. The television reception device includes browser processing means for specifying an active screen (such as a screen specified by a viewer, a screen in which the video source has been changed, and a screen corresponding to input video data for which audio is outputted) from the screens in the multi-screen display, acquiring associated information from the input video data corresponding to the active screen, and performing multi-screen display of the web page corresponding to the associated information acquired by the web browser. ® KIPO & WIPO 2009 |
