<p>[PROBLEMS] To hydrolyze synthetic resins having ester-linkage structures into raw material chemicals. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A process for the decomposition and reclamation of synthetic resins having ester-linkage structures which comprises conducting hydrolysis and separate recovery successively, wherein the hydrolysis is conducted by exposing a waste containing a synthetic resin having ester-linkage structures at a treatment temperature not exceeding the melting temperature of the resin to an atmosphere filled with steam at a pressure up to the saturated steam pressure at the treatment temperature to hydrolyze the synthetic resin with the steam generated at the treatment temperature into raw material chemicals, while the separate recovery is conducted by recovering a liquid decomposition product formed by the hydrolysis and a solid decomposition product formed thereby separately. ® KIPO & WIPO 2009</p> |
