A diffusion film of a liquid crystal display backlight unit is provided to improve the brightness and uniformity of the brightness only using one light diffusing film on the light guide plate. A light diffusing film(40) of a liquid crystal display device backlight unit comprises a plurality of prisms(410). The prisms are formed at the position where a first plane(411), and a second plane(412) meets. A tilting amount of the first plane is different from that of the second plane. The height of the prism is increasing as it goes to the center part from the edge.
