The invention is a process for making a multi-layered self-adhesive, protective film consisting of a base layer made with a homopolymer or a copolymer of a polyolefin of type C2 or C3; a pressure sensitive adhesive layer of a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate, a tie layer formed by a polyolefin or a copolymer made from ethylene and vinyl acetate which have been modified due to the addition of maleic anhydride; or a copolymer made from ethylene and vinyl acetate in which the content of vinyl acetate is between 10% and 40%.
