A mold is provided to save energy by heating a fixed mold part with the steam heating a heating space and improving energy efficiency. An energy-saving type mold consisting of a fixed mold(1) and a movable mold(2). In the fixed mold, a fixed plate closing a fixed mold part(110) is fixed to the back side of the fixed mold part, a steam inlet pipe(113) and a cooling water inlet pipe(114) are fixed on the top of the fixed mold part as being connected to a copper pipe, and a cooling water discharge pipe(115) is set up in the lower part of the fixed mold part so that a heating space part of the fixed mold is omitted. The copper pipe(116) includes an upper lateral pipe with large diameter and a longitudinal pipe with small diameter branched from the lateral pipe. On the longitudinal copper pipe, spray holes are formed at regular intervals in order to spray steam or cooling water to the surface of a recess molding part(111) and heat or cool the recess molding part.
