A micro dialysis probe has a frame (1) for a needle, with groove recess(es) (4,5) in its peripheral surfaces. The recesses are open to the outer sides of the frame to hold the inflow and outflow lines. The leading end of the frame has a point (3) for penetration into the tissue. The channel recesses meet (6) at the point. A dialysis membrane layer (7) of regenerated cellulose is over the recesses across the whole needle frame width.
