A wiper device of button sewing machine is provided to put away certainly cut needle thread after hanging the button, to stabilize a length of the thread put away and maintained in a side position and to make a finishing feeling excellent. A wiper device of button sewing machine comprises a thread inserting spring(6), a wiper(8) and a drive actuator(9). The thread inserting spring is adhered to a sewing machine arm(1). The wiper hangs cut needle thread(T) from a sewn material. The drive actuator manages extrusion-movement of the wiper. Additionally, the wiper device of button sewing machine comprises a yarn grasping unit(17) and a yarn grasping unit vibration opening and closing unit.
