The device (200) has a support (202) fixed to a heavy vehicle, a cylinder i.e. air intake cylinder (204), fixed under the support, and wheels maintained at ground contact under force of the cylinder. The cylinder is pressure-regulated by a proportional valve (206) for maintaining a constant internal pressure. The support includes a lateral orifice (238) placed on a sliding zone of a sliding arm (220) at a congeal position of the arm by insertion of a pin in the orifice.
