The device has a retractable sheath (1) made up of a thermo plastic material, where the sheath is fixed with a cord (2) by withdrawal of a part of the cord under the sheath. The sheath is fixed to the cord by sizing the cord in its part under the sheath. The sheath is fixed to the cord by a fastener. The sheath covers an end fitting of branches of sunglasses permanently adhered to the end fitting by simple heating, where the cord encloses a magnified bulb (3) to obtain strangulation of the sheath.
