The electric power production system for an automobile vehicle, comprises a fuel cell (12) equipped with a reformer (14) for producing a gas rich in hydrogen, a fuel storage tank (18), a filtering unit (32) of fuel vapor formed inside the storage tank, a regeneration unit, a compressor, and a by-pass line connected to a supply conduit. The regeneration unit comprises reformer having a burner, and a purging conduit (38, 44) connected with the filtering unit. The compressor supplies a compressed air to the reformer through the supply conduit. The by-pass line is equipped with an obturation element, and the purging conduit comprises an obturation body in which the conduit is connected with the burner.
