PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot melt adhesive, capable of preventing slippage of an absorptive article such as a sanitary napkin from underwear without leaving paste on the underwear, while maintaining excellent coating adaptability. SOLUTION: The hot melt adhesive contains 8-16 pts.wt. of a hydrogenated thermoplastic block copolymer that is a copolymer of a vinyl-based aromatic hydrocarbon and a conjugated diene compound (A); 40-65 pts.wt. by weight of a tackifier resin (B); and 25-40 pts.wt. of a plasticizer (C), based on 100 pts.wt. of the total weight of the hydrogenated thermoplastic block copolymer (A), the tackifier resin (B) and the plasticizer (C), the toluene viscosity (30°C, 10 wt.% toluene solution) of the hydrogenated thermoplastic block copolymer (A) being 100-2,600 mPa s.
