Azo, methine, azamethine, acridine, azine, oxazine, xanthene, anthraquinone, and triphenylmethane dyes are specified, anions include phosphate, sulphate, methylsulphate, halide, zinc halide and nitrate, the solvents preferably being formic, acetic, propionic, chloroacetic and lactic acids.
