PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip for attaching an assist grip capable of removing locking pieces locked to the attachment hole of a body panel from the front side of the body panel. SOLUTION: This clip for attaching the assist grip includes a pair of locking pieces 24 locked to the edge of the attachment hole by inserting a hollow strut 22 in a clip body 20 into the attachment hole 42 of the body panel 40. The base ends of both the locking pieces are integrated with the strut so that both the locking pieces 24 are elastically deformed in the inward/outward directions of the strut 22 on both sides of the strut. Also, the free ends 24b of both the locking pieces 24 are positioned on the side of the opening 22c of the strut 22. An interval between both the free ends is set smaller than an interval between the inner surfaces of the opening 22c corresponding to the free ends. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
