PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine, in which a plurality of programs (memory courses) can be set to the liking of a user, and the memory course is not deleted by power shut-off or the like while it is executed. SOLUTION: As execution of the memory course is started and is stored in a nonvolatile memory 22. At the end of operation of the memory course, or when power is charged after power shut-off, the memory course is automatically displayed to be set, so that the memory course can be reused at a touch. Memory courses are provided, and proper memory courses are provided to be respectively proper for washing underwear, everyday clothes, baby's underwear, etc., or in accordance with clothes to be dried.
