COMPENSATOR FOR A FEEDBACK CONTROL SYSTEM AND PROCEDURE FOR TUNING SAID COMPENSATOR

Compensator for a system of feedback control and method for tuning said compensator. This comprises integral compensation means (21), which in their turn comprise primary compensation means (22) and secondary compensation means (24), in such a way that, when the value of the error signal (e) is zero, the value of the output of the integral compensation means, which depends on the output value of the primary means of compensation and the output value of the secondary means of compensation, is different from zero. This results in a compensator with identical behaviour to a PI compensator during the time reset is not applied, while during the reset time the integral terminal does not go completely to zero, but only the part corresponding to the primary means of compensation. The effect of this is to keep the asymptotic features of the compensator intact.
