This invention relates to a synthetic resin bottle and especially a biaxially drawn, blow molded bottle of a small-sized and narrow-mouthed type, which is used as a makeup container for mascara and eyeliner, and to a process for molding the same. A synthetic resin bottle which is a biaxally drawn, blow molded bottle having a mouth opening portion disposed on a body, wherein the mouth opening portion has a bore diameter of at most mm and that a maximum diameter of the body is at least 2.5 times the bore diameter of the mouth opening portion and wherein a maximum diameter portion of the body has a minimum wall thickness of at least 0.45 mm is provided.
