<p>A DMB terminal and an automatic handover method are provided to implement handover corresponding to each broadcast coverage of the DMB terminal, automatically through the receive sensitivity and GPS information of a frequency which is being received. An automatic handover method of a DMB terminal comprises the following steps of: comparing the strength of a received signal having the first frequency with a preset threshold(S100); if the strength of the received signal is identical to or smaller than the threshold(S200), determining whether the current location is within the coverage of the first frequency in which a user is viewing a broadcast(S300); determining whether the user passes through a predetermined point divided to judge a moving path or not(S400); and performing a change into the second frequency which is a channel frequency of the corresponding area(S500).</p> |
