<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily notice the change of sales circumstances in a store. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 10 of a sales data management device 1 totals sales data collected from the sales data processor of a POS terminal, and decides whether the change rate of the sales data exceeds a reference value (comparison amplification rate and a comparison reduction rate) as the index of the increase/decrease rate of sales data for every item of the collected sales data, and when deciding that the sales data exceed the reference value, the CPU 10 generates an announcement sentence including the item of the sales data and the change ratio of the sales data of the items, and performs analytic sheet preparation processing to be output (displayed or printed).
