<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it hard to generate a toner cartridge from a recycled article so as to more surely prevent the toner cartridge from being refilled with non-genuine toner. <P>SOLUTION: The invention relates to the toner cartridge where a toner chamber 28 for storing toner and a waste toner chamber 29 for storing waste toner are provided inside a case main body 26, and a filling port 36 for filling the toner chamber 28 with the toner is provided to the outer surface of the case main body 26, and is hermetically sealed by a cap 37. An opening 45 communicating with both the toner chamber 28 and the waste toner chamber 29 is provided in a partition 44 partitioning the toner chamber 28 and the waste toner chamber 29, and a covering member 46 is disposed to be positionally displaced so as to cover over the opening 45.
