<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photoelectric conversion device which can improve photoelectric conversion efficiency by collectively inserting a large number of crystal semiconductor particles easily into an opening of a light reflecting member with a minimized gap. <P>SOLUTION: The photoelectric conversion device comprises a conductive substrate 1, spherical bodies 2 of a large number of spherical crystal semiconductor particles of first conduction types which have semiconductor layers 3 of second conduction types formed thereon and are spaced by distances from one another on the conductive substrate 1, an insulating layer 4 formed between the conductive substrate 1 and the crystal semiconductor particle bodies 2, a light-transmitting conductive layer 5 formed on the insulating layer 4 and on the crystal semiconductor particle bodies 2, and light reflecting resin-made members 7 which are formed on the light-transmitting conductive layer 5 on the insulating layer 4 and which have light reflecting surfaces 8 of recessed shapes for condensing light at the crystal semiconductor particle body 2 and also an opening 17 of a polygonal shape for exposing the upper part of the crystal semiconductor particle body 2 at the lower end of the light reflecting surface 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
