<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use water staying in a storage container while preventing impurities from being accumulated in a fuel cell by leading the offgas of a fuel gas to the storage container outside the fuel cell, in a fuel cell system. <P>SOLUTION: The storage container 20 is provided outside the fuel cell 2, and an outlet of an anode gas passage formed in the fuel cell 2 is made to communicate with the storage container 20 by a communicating pipe 12. When it is necessary to humidify the inside of the fuel cell 2, the storage container 20 is made to communicate with the primary side supply passage 10b of the fuel gas by opening a valve V3 with the communicating pipe 12 shut off by closing a valve V2. Then, a valve V4 is opened to supply water staying in the storage container 20 into the secondary supply passage 10a of the fuel gas which is connected to the fuel cell 2 by using the pressure of the fuel gas in the primary side supply passage 10b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
