<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of generating noise when a housing and an outer ring contact by metal, since restoration to an initial position delays due to hysteresis possessed by an O ring, when used in a place of vibrating by a high frequency. <P>SOLUTION: This rolling bearing 1 is formed by fitting the O ring 14 in a recessed groove 13b formed in the peripheral direction on an outer peripheral surface 13a of the outer ring 13. An elastic material having the hysteresis H of 40% or less is used as the O ring. Here, the hysteresis H is defined as follows: the hysteresis H=S1×100/S2, S1 is the area surrounded by a load impression curve and a load removing curve, and S2 is the area on the lower side of the load impression curve (the substantially triangular area surrounded by the load impression curve and the axis of abscissa when taking displacement on the axis of abscissa and a load on the axis of ordinate). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
