PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processor or the like capable of performing highly accurate color conversion processing on the basis of relation between two spectral characteristics. SOLUTION: The signal processor for determining color conversion of converting second color signals obtained by picking up images by a second imaging element to be an object to first color signals approximate to color signals obtained by picking up the images by a first imaging element to be a target is provided with: a spectral difference calculation part 101 for calculating a difference between the spectral characteristic of the first imaging element and the spectral characteristic of the second imaging element for respective spectral characteristics relating to a plurality of color signals constituting the color signals and defining the maximum value as a spectral difference value; and a processing judgement part 102 for determining linear transformation for color conversion when the size of the spectral difference value is equal to or smaller than a discrimination reference value and determining nonlinear transformation for color conversion when the size of the spectral difference value is larger than the discrimination reference value.
