PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an organic light-emitting element having a high-luminance optical output at a low applied voltage in high luminous efficiency. SOLUTION: In the organic light-emitting element having a pair of electrodes composed of an anode and a cathode in which at least one is transparent or translucent and one or a plurality of organic layers containing an organic compound interposed between the pair of the electrodes, at least one layer of the organic layers containing the organic compound contains one or more kinds of organic radical metal complexes.
