PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake air duct of automobile in which fixing work property of the intake air duct is improved and at the same time hot gas in an engine room is prevented from entering the intake air duct. SOLUTION: A sub-intake air duct 11 with a U-shaped cross section, having a released upper part and extending in a forward or rearward direction is fixed to a rear vertical wall surface 5 of a radiator support upper panel 2 through which a ventilation hole 6 is opened, and a front end part 26 formed with an inlet port 27 of an intake air duct 21 is fitted from above to this sub-intake air duct 11. The intake air duct 21 can be easily fixed without interfering with the radiator support upper panel 2. In addition, a clearance between the ventilation hole 6 and the inlet port 27 of the intake air duct 21 is closed by the sub-intake air duct 11 to prevent hot gas in an engine room from entering the intake air duct 21.
