A technique of suppressing malfunction of an electronic bin tag of an electronic bin tag system attributed to an increase in the internal resistance of the cell of the electronic bin tag. The electronic bin tag (5) of an electronic bin tag system comprises a cell (56) for supplying a power source to the electronic bin tag (5), a charged section (572) charged with power supplied from the cell (56), a light-emitting section (52) for transmitting data to a delivery device by using the power stored in the charged section (572), and a voltage step-up circuit (571) and a control circuit (570) both for controlling power supply from the cell (56) to the charged section (572). When the electronic bin tag (5) receives change notification data from the delivery device, the charging mode of the electronic bin tag (5) is changed from a normal charging mode to a long-term charging mode in which the supply power from the cell (56) to the charged section (572) is lower than that in the normal charging mode and in which charging of the charged section (572) is performed for a term longer than that in the normal charging mode.
