<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label printer capable of reducing storage capacities of respective apparatuses to the absolute minimum without any need of storing issue data corresponding to all articles for every apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The label printer is provided with: an issue data storage part 28 which stores issue data received from the host 60; and an input part 40 by which search items for searching the issue data are inputted. The CPU 22 searches the issue data storage part 28 using the search items inputted from the input part 40, thereby specifying the issue data that comes under the search items. If the issue data is unable to be specified, the search item inputted from the input part 40 is transmitted to the host 60, with the issue data corresponding to the search item obtained from the host 60. When label print based on the issue data obtained from the host 60 is instructed, the issue data obtained from the host 60 is stored in the issue data storage part 28. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
