PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand capable of supporting a display apparatus at a comparatively low lifting height, and a display apparatus whose display section can be supported by the stand at a comparatively low lifting height. SOLUTION: The stand on which a display apparatus having a display face on the front side is placed in a standing state includes: a load receiving body 31 for receiving the load of the display apparatus; two column bodies 32 and 32 extending upward from the load receiving body 31; and mounting members 33 attached to the side face of the column bodies 32 and 32 and also to be attached to the rear face of the display apparatus.
