PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device allowing easy installation of devices and capable of remote control for preventing failure of turning off a light, informing an abnormal condition of a person, a fire, and illegal intrusion, preventing picking of a lock, and controlling electric appliances. SOLUTION: When an automation mode is selected, it is judged whether a person is inside a room or not by means of a human detecting sensor 13. Light output from a light transmitting device in a door detecting sensor 15 is reflected by a reflector 43 to be input to a light receiving device. When a door 41 is opened, a light quantity input to the light receiving device in the door detecting sensor 15 is reduced, and an output voltage is lowered. The voltage is compared with a set voltage value, and when it lowers below the set voltage value, it is judged that the door 41 is opened. Then, a relay 51 is turned on for lighting a bulb 3.
